I went to patient first about a week prior to seeing Dr Moore, and the PF doctor told me that while I had a foreign object in my foot it wasn't near my pain location. After a week of little to no pain relief I made an appointment with Atlantic Orthopedic and Dr. Moore. Dr. Moore immediately realized that the foreign object was exactly where my pain was originating from, and was able to perform out patient surgery to remove the foreign object from my foot. He was incredibly professional, compassionate, and understanding. In my 47 years of life I doubt that I've encountered a better doctor than Dr. Moore. I had an overall really great experience with Atlantic Ortho. Dr. Moore performed minimally invasive bunion surgery on both of my feet this year in March and May. The first week of September I went on a 2 day 21+ mile backpacking trip. Since then, I've started training for a marathon with virtually no pain in my feet for the first time since I was 16. Another provider recommended a more invasive surgery that would've had me immobile for 5-6 months per foot. I'm extremely glad Dr. Moore explained all the reasons he felt minimally invasive was the right choice, and that I opted for his opinion. Appointments were almost always on time, and the staff quickly responded to any questions or concerns I had when I didn't have an appointment. I would definitely recommend Atlantic Ortho, and Dr. Moore specifically based on the treatment and care I've received over the last seven months.

I have the highest confidence in Dr. Moore's skills as a surgeon. I was in a great deal of pain in my left foot when I came to see Dr. Moore. I feel very lucky in finding him at Atlantic Orthopedic. He's honest, take the time to explain things properly, and most of all he's truthful. There's no smoke and mirrors. He'll give you the straight up truth about what his surgery will entail, the percentages on the outcomes that are possible. I felt confident after discussing my condition, and how he would approach it, with Dr. Moore. I can now walk, pain free. I'm nearly 78 years old and I've planned a hiking and fishing trip with my Grandson to take place in the Alps in Italy. Explained everything thoroughly and very professional. I started with the least invasive method bracing and injections. I had an MRI done that showed significant damage with tears and he recommended surgery immediately. Being my first surgery and the primary caregiver of a medically fragile child I was nervous and anxious about it. He explained the necessity of surgery and the risks if I didn't have it. I was impressed at the neatness of the suture line I am now 3 weeks post op and healing nicely and look forward to running again soon. Very thankful to be given an appointment within 2 days after an injury to one foot and the other ankle. The staff—administrative, clinical, and radiography—friendly and professional. In the clinical arena, Clemente went above and beyond to demonstrate the special techniques for strapping the boot and wrapping the brace. Dr. Moore is an excellent diagnostician, uncovering a fibula fracture on follow up X-rays, not visible on initial films done elsewhere. The boot, brace, and topical medication he prescribed provided me with relief from severe pain and improved mobility. I can’t Thank Dr.Moore enough! He found I had a stress fracture and suggested I get ParaThyroid blood work done. Thank goodness he did… I have since been to my Endocrinologist and he had a 3D Scan of my parathyroid glands and it revealed 2 tumors that are diagnosed as Hyperparathyroidism! From the moment Dr. Moore entered the room, I knew I was in good hands. Twenty years on from prior ligament reconstruction surgery and after decades of running, my ankle had become unstable again. Dr. Moore diagnosed it authoritatively, proclaimed the joint to be "savable," and explained why we should treat it. An MRI confirmed multiple tears to tendons and ligaments including some that were likely 40 years old. Dr. Moore outlined his proposed surgical approach what my prognosis was. He did not apply any pressure to me to commit to surgery. Once I decided to proceed, however, his secretary, Ceil, coordinated all of the logistics smoothly. Throughout, Dr. Moore was engaged, responsive, confident and positive. Although my surgery is only 24 hours behind me, I feel certain it was a success and that my outlook is good. I was referred to Dr. Moore due to an infection, from a puncture wound, spreading to the bone in one of my toes. He was excellent in explaining the situation and my options. He recommended a surgical solution that, if successful, would avoid amputation of the toe. He advised there was only a 50% chance the infection would not come back, in case the toe would have to be amputated. The surgery was successful and I still have my toe. I was very pleased with this outcome, with how well he explained the situation and how patient he was answering my questions. As a business Atlantic Orthopedic runs a tight ship. The staff are all kind, capable and I have never waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. They are efficient from the front of the office to the back. I have been to three specialists and Dr. Moore is the most impressing foot and heel doctor around. He was willing and able to work with me for well over a year to hold off surgery on my driving foot. He was empathetic and has a kind manner about him. When I was ready for surgery he actually had the nurse call me for a faster appointment due to a cancelation. I left surgery and my ankle is pain free. He put two huge bolts in my heel and cleaned up a lifetime of arthritis. I wish I had done this years ago. He is a master of craftsmanship and my body feels better now than it has in years!! After being sent for x-rays, it was only a short amount of time before Dr. Moore came in and examined me. It was evident that he knew what he was doing and I felt confident in his decisions on how to treat me. My time was valued and I did not feel like just another patient. If I could give Dr Moore 10 stars I would but only 5 allowed. Dr. Moore operated on my foot twice. Once to reconstruct my foot and then to replace my ankle. Both surgeries were extremely successful He is a a wonderful surgeon with a great bedside manner. He really cares about his patients I waited way too long to get treatment and when I finally did I really was not able to walk very well Now I am walking everywhere and with no pain. I had a traumatic fall on our stairs and heard my ankle pop three times and was referred to Dr. Moore. He was great, and helped me recover without surgery. I honestly thought he was crazy that the injury would heal without surgery (2 avulsion fractures and some ligament damage), but he was absolutely right!
